CHOCOLATS FAVORIS

CHOCOLATS FAVORIS

With over 40 years of experience in the chocolate and ice cream business, Chocolats Favoris serves as a benchmark in terms of quality, experience and innovation. Have you always dreamed of having your own business, in a joyful and magical place? Chocolats Favoris has exactly what you need!

CHOCOFAV’S HISTORY OF MAGIC

In 1979, a small, artisanal chocolate factory named Chocolats Favoris opened its doors in Lauzon, in Québec City’s South Shore region. The family business mainly made chocolates for Easter, but quickly expanded its product line by drawing inspiration from European know-how and adapting it to local preferences. Having started out as chocolate makers, we became master chocolatiers and recognized leaders in the world of chocolate gastronomy. In 1996, we launched a revolutionary, exclusive product: ice cream dipped in real chocolate!

Following the acquisition by Dominique Brown in 2012, we introduced a brand-new concept where liquid chocolate takes the spotlight! A fourth Chocolats Favoris location opened its doors in Québec City. Our customers could choose from twelve flavours of chocolatey coatings and our famous chocolate fondue in a can was launched to bring the magical experience home.

Chocolats Favoris was on a roll and opened several new locations in Québec and in British Columbia, in 2016. To meet the growing demand for its products, the first Chocolats Favoris production plant, La Fabrique, was inaugurated in Québec City. This is now where our chocolate products are made, and also where various areas of our company are managed, such as warehousing, distribution, research and development, and administration.

Today, the business that is the pride of Lévis is present in three Canadian provinces and has some sixty chocolate shops under its banner. Our mission: To conquer the world, one chocolate at a time.

OUR UNIQUE CONCEPT

Our chocolate shops provide a singular experience. As you walk through the door, the smell of chocolate and the cozy setting will take you to a magical place! On one side, there is the ice-cream parlour, and on the other, the store. In the middle of the store, there is an illuminated cocoa tree where the customer can find out various facts about the world of cocoa. The displays are full of chocolate products that change throughout the seasons. Add to that decorative chocolate piping, and a unique counter for our various coatings! Our desserts are made in front of the customers. This is every chocolate lover’s dream!

Our chocolate’s reputation is such that it attracts people from all over Canada. With a chocolate recipe that remains, to this today, secret and exclusive, we welcome our customers to a world that is as unique as it is delicious: fondues, chocolate bars, fine chocolates, gift packages and much more! We also have our seasonal offerings for Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and Easter. For these holidays, we have exclusive chocolate collections and several loss leaders, like our Advent Calendar to share and our adorable hand-painted Easter mouldings.

QUALITY-BASED SUCCESS

We choose sustainable cocoa!

All the products that we make are from sustainable and fair-trade cocoa. This means that the cocoa we use is grown in an environmentally responsible way, in a manner that helps improve the living conditions of the farmers and their families.

100% Pure Chocolate

In addition to being made with sustainable and fair-trade cocoa, our legendary chocolate contains no added oils and no additives. That’s the reason why it’s so thick and delicious.
